The car ride home from football practice was an assault on the senses. That's when we introduced post-training Body Spray and Body Wash as non-negotiable. Here's the body care order that actually works for active teens.

The Daily Body Care Order

1. Body Wash (In the Shower)

Two pumps on a washcloth. Lather. Wash from neck down. Pay extra attention to armpits, chest, back, and feet. Rinse thoroughly. The citrus scent is fresh without being overwhelming. The washcloth is key to slough off dirt and dead skin.

2. Dry Completely and Apply Deodorant

Towel-dry before applying deodorant. Damp armpits + deodorant = white streaks on clothes and reduced effectiveness.

3. Body Spray

One spray per armpit. On clean, dry skin. Never on broken or freshly shaved skin. Our aluminum-free formula helps with odor prevention.

Total time: 2 minutes in the shower + 10 seconds for deodorant.

The Post-Sport Upgrade

If your teen plays sports, sweats heavily, or has PE class, the basic routine isn't enough. Here's the post-training version:

1. Immediate: Rinse if you can't shower

If there's no shower available immediately after practice, at least rinse off sweat with water and change into clean clothes. Sweat sitting on skin breeds bacteria.

2. Shower ASAP: Body Wash

Within 30 minutes of finishing, if possible. Our Body Wash is sulfate-free with aloe vera. It cleanses sweat and bacteria without stripping skin that's already been stressed by activity.

3. Deodorant and Body Spray (Fresh Application)

Even if they applied in the morning, post-shower is a fresh start. Clean skin + fresh deodorant = actually working protection.

What About Face Care After Sports?

Sweat mixed with dirt and bacteria is a breakout factory. If your teen's face is sweaty after sports, they need to wash it — not just rinse.

Keep a travel-sized Face Wash in their gym bag. One pump, quick wash, pat dry. Add a Pimple Patch if breakouts appear. It's a simple post-sport face routine that prevents the "sweat acne" that plagues active teens.

Face Pads are also a quick and easy alternative if there is limited access to wash your face. Wipe your face with a pad and wash full when at home.

The Products That Work Together

Our Body Wash and Body Spray are designed as a system. The citrus scent in the Body Wash is light and fresh. The Body Spray complements it without competing. Together, they handle the two biggest teen body concerns: cleanliness and odor.

Both are aluminum-free, sulfate-free, and designed for sensitive skin. Because teen skin reacts to harsh ingredients — even on the body.

What NOT to Do

Don't use heavily scented body wash. Most adult body washes are too heavily scented or contain drying sulfates, hormone disruptive synthetic fragrance and the chemical preservative phenoxyethanol that can cause irritation. Teen skin needs gentler formulations.

Don't skip deodorant and body spray. "I don't smell that bad" is a lie teens tell themselves. Everyone smells. This isn't optional once puberty hits.

Don't forget feet. Wash between toes. Dry between toes. Fungal infections love damp, sweaty teen feet. Prevention is easier than treatment.
