If you've ever stood in the bathroom wondering "am I doing this right?" — you're not alone. Here's exactly how to use every JB SKRUB product, step by step, with exact amounts and timing.
The Face Wash: 30 Seconds
1. Wet your face
Lukewarm water. Not hot — hot water strips skin. Not cold — cold doesn't clean effectively. Lukewarm opens pores without irritation.
2. One-Two pumps on wet hands
One - Two pumps. Not "a squirt." One- Two pumps is exactly enough to cover a teen's face without wasting product.
3. Massage for 20 seconds
Circle motions on forehead, cheeks, nose, chin. Don't scrub, massage. The cleanser does the work; you just move it around. If you have a very soft wash cloth, you may use this for help too. Count to 20. That's it.
4. Rinse thoroughly
Make sure no residue remains around the hairline, jaw, or nose. Leftover cleanser can irritate skin.
5. Pat dry (don't rub)
Use a clean towel. Pat — don't rub. Rubbing irritates skin and spreads bacteria. Leave skin slightly damp if you are applying a lotion next.
Total time: 30 seconds.
Frequency: Morning and night.
The Face Pads: 20 Seconds
1. Take out one pad
Use clean hands to remove a single toner pad from the tub. Close the lid tightly so the rest stay fresh.
2. Gently wipe over your face
Sweep the pad across breakout-prone areas, avoiding your eyes and lips. Don’t scrub — let the ingredients do the work.
3. Leave on — don’t rinse
Let your skin dry naturally, then follow with moisturizer. Wash your hands after use and never reuse a pad.
Total time: 30 seconds.
Frequency: Start 2–3 times a week, then increase to once daily if your skin is comfortable. Cut back if irritation or dryness occurs.
The Face Lotion: 15 Seconds
1. Apply to damp skin
While your face is still slightly damp from washing (not dripping, just damp), or after using a face pad, apply the lotion. Damp skin absorbs moisturiser better than dry skin.
2. One-Two pumps, dotted on face
Dot it on forehead, both cheeks, nose, chin. One-Two pumps covers all five points.
3. Gently spread and pat
Spread outward from the center. Don't drag or pull. The lotion should absorb in about 10 seconds. If it sits on top, you've used too much.
Total time: 15 seconds.
Frequency: Morning and night, immediately after washing.
The Pimple Patches: 5 Seconds
1. Clean, dry skin only
Wash and dry your face first. Patches don't stick to wet or oily skin.
2. Peel and stick directly on the spot
Center the patch over the pimple. Press gently for 3 seconds to seal the edges. Don't stretch the skin — just press.
3. Leave for 6-8 hours (or overnight)
Sleep in them. Go to school in them. They're virtually invisible. The patch turns white when it's absorbed fluid — that's how you know it's working.
4. Peel off gently
Don't rip. Peel slowly from the edge. If it's stuck, dampen the edge with water first. Never reuse a patch.
Total time: 5 seconds to apply.
Frequency: As needed when breakouts appear.
The Body Wash: 60 Seconds
1. Wet your skin
Step into the shower and soak your body with warm water.
2. Use two pumps
Pump the body wash onto a washcloth or loofah. Add water and work it into a lather.
3. Wash from the neck down
Gently scrub your body, paying extra attention to your armpits, chest and back — the areas that collect the most sweat and oil. If you wore deodorant - make sure you pay close attention to clean your pits to get rid of the old deodorant that can build up- yuck!
4. Rinse thoroughly
Wash away all the lather. The fresh citrus scent leaves you smelling clean without overpowering you or the bathroom.
5. Dry off
Pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Don’t rub too hard, especially if your skin is sensitive.
Total time: 60 seconds.
Frequency: Use after sports, after sweating or once daily.
The Shampoo: 60 Seconds
1. Wet your hair
Soak your hair thoroughly with warm water. This helps the shampoo spread evenly and lift away sweat and oil.
2. Massage 2 pumps into your scalp
Apply shampoo to your palms, then massage it into your scalp with your fingertips. Focus on the roots, hairline and behind your ears — don’t aggressively scrub or scratch.
3. Rinse thoroughly
Work the lather through the lengths of your hair as you rinse, making sure no shampoo is left behind.
4. Repeat if needed
If your hair is especially sweaty or oily, shampoo a second time. Otherwise, one wash is enough. Avoid getting shampoo in your eyes.
Total time: 60 seconds.
Frequency: After sports, after sweating or whenever your scalp feels oily. For most teens, washing every other day works well, but if you are extra active you may be washing everyday. The Shampoo is gentle enough to use everyday.
The Body Spray: 10 Seconds
1. Start with clean, dry skin
Use the body spray after showering, once your skin is completely dry. Don’t spray it on broken or freshly shaved skin.
2. Spray from a short distance
Hold the bottle a few inches away from your skin and spray lightly under each arm. A couple of quick sprays is enough — more won’t make it work better.
3. Let it dry
Give the spray a moment to dry before getting dressed. Avoid spraying onto your face, eyes or sensitive skin.
4. Reapply when needed
The fresh citrus scent complements the Body Wash without competing with it. It’s clean and noticeable, but not overpowering.
Total time: 10 seconds.
Frequency: Apply in the morning and reapply after sports or sweating - when you need a refresh.
